Gas Heating
Advances in technology have resulted in gas heating becoming an increasingly specialised field within the plumbing industry. Heaters are now being controlled by computers and electronics in order to make them as efficient as possible. As is the case with hot water, there are a few different styles of gas heaters. Ducted heaters are considered to be the most efficient way to heat an entire house, delivering heat via duct pipes running to each room. Ducted heaters can be installed in the roof, under the house, outside or even in a cupboard. Space heaters, console heaters and wall furnaces are generally installed in living areas of the house and only heat those living areas.
Regular servicing of gas heating units, including carbon monoxide testing, is strongly recommended to help ensure safe and reliable operation of your gas heaters, no matter what style of gas heater it is.
